Lukas Jochner ist ein Ulmer Jazzposaunist. Er studierte am Conservatorium van Amsterdam bei Ferdinand Povel, Martijn Sohier und Bert Boeren. Er lebte ausserdem in Berlin und Wien, wo er im Oktober 2011 sein Bachelorstudium am Konservatorium Wien bei Johannes Herrlich mit Auszeichnung abschloss.
Lukas Jochner spielt regelmäßig mit der SWR Big Band, dem Sunday Night Orchestra, dem Christian Elsässer Orchestra, dem Glenn Miller Orchestra, der Band “Buffzack” und dem Sextett “Mingus in Wonderland”. Er arbeitete unter anderem außerdem mit der, HR Big Band, dem Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, Matthias Schriefl’s Shreefpunk + Big Band, Jazzfactory Orchestra Fellbach, Alexander Bühl Sextett & Peter Lenz “Silent Flow”.
Lukas Jochner ist regelmäßig Dozent bei Workshops wie dem renommierten Jazzkurs Burghausen, beim Landesjugenjazzorchester Bayern oder dem Lajazzo Baden-Würtemberg.
Beim internationalen Masterclass Workshop “generations” in Frauenfeld / Schweiz wurde Lukas von einer hochkarätigen Jury – u.a. Harold Mabern und Eric Alexander – ausgewählt in der “Generation Unit 2010″ unter der Leitung von Adrian Mears zu spielen. Im April 2011 nahm das Ensemble eine CD für das Montreux Jazz Label TCB auf und ging im August 2011 auf CD Release Tour in der Schweiz.
Lukas Jochner war von 2009 – 2011 Posaunist im BuJazzO (Bundesjugendjazzorchester) und war langjähriges Mitglied im Landesjugendjazzorchester Bayern.
Konzertreisen führten ihn nach Kuwait, USA, Indien, Indonesien, Griechenland, Irland, Rumänien, Ungarn, Italien, Holland, Schweiz, Österreich und Deutschland.
Lukas Jochner is a Munich based trombone player who recently graduated from the masters program of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he studied with Ferdinand Povel, Martijn Sohier and Bert Boeren. He has also lived in Berlin and Vienna. At the Konservatorium Vienna, where he studied with Johannes Herrlich, he earned his Bachelor’s degree with honours in Oktober 2011.

At the international “generations” Masterclass in Frauenfeld , Switzerland, Lukas was chosen by a renowned jury – including Harold Mabern and Eric Alexander - to perform in the “Generations Band 2010″ led by Adrian Mears. The ensemble recorded for the Montreaux Jazz Label in Winterthur (CH) in April 2011 and played a CD release tour through Switzerland in August 2011.
Lukas Jochner played in the BuJazzO (National German Youth Jazz Orchestra) and was also a member of the Bavarian Youth Jazz Orchestra.
He has performed in Kuwait, the USA, India, Indonesia, Greece, Ireland, Romania, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and all over Germany.
